I don't have any before pictures, so just picture the"before" as an empty porch. Ha.
I didn't have room at the apartment to use this old vintage bike, so I was so excited to be able to use it at the new house!
I found this crate at TJ Maxx. I think it's supposed to be used for silverware.
Le Pain means bread, in case you were wondering. I plan to cover that with some chalk paint and write "Welcome!"
When I was a kid there was a goose statue similar to the one below that lived in our neighborhood a few blocks from our house. The owner of the goose dressed it up every day in little dresses, hats and my favorite, A RAIN COAT. We used to BEG my mom to see it.
"MOM!! PLEASE DRIVE BY THE GOOSE! PLEEEEEEEASE!"
Those are happy memories for me, so I got a goose of my own at a thrift store!
This wreath was from a thrift store and had some ugly Hawaiian flowers on it. I tore them off and clipped apart the flowers from my watering can. This project was about $7 (but actually less because my mom bought me the wreath to redecorate), which is pretty awesome considering how large it is.
Our bike mat is looking a little rough these days, but still cute!
The red pillows used to be on our couch in the apartment, but have now been repurposed!
Our view from the swing.
Pretty hanging flowers.
The porch could probably use a new coat of paint, but right now it is absolutely covered in yellow pollen. It's kind of impossible to keep clean at the moment, so we will wait to do any major changes.
And there is our porch! Enjoy this beautiful May Day!
