Won Ton Tacos

Yesterday I was looking for something a little out of the ordinary for dinner.

I got on Pinterest and found a mini taco recipe using won ton wrappers. It sounded fun!

I think Pinterest said this was an "appetizer" but we made it our dinner because we don't follow rules.

Final Product!
Ingredients:
-won ton wrappers
-1 lb beef
-taco seasoning
-cheese
-any other taco toppings (sour cream, taco sauce, lettuce, tomato etc)

After I spent 10 minutes at the grocery store looking for won ton wrappers, I found them by fresh produce. What!? Just a little advice for you in case you get lost.

Directions:
-Preheat oven to 350
-Brown beef. Strain. Add 2/3 cup water and taco seasoning. Simmer for 10 minutes.
-Put won ton wrappers in a cupcake pan
-Scoop a few spoonfuls of beef into each pocket
-Put cheese on top
-Bake for 8 minutes
-Add extra toppings

How cute is my dog!?

They were actually really good! Trent said he would have preferred them to be more crispy, but I thought they turned out perfect.

I'm excited to try and make crab rangoon another night with the remaining won ton wrappers. Last time I tried deep frying stuff I burnt the sealant right off of the pan....but that's a story for another day.

Enjoy!

*Note: I could not post the link to the original recipe because Pinterest blocked it. Won ton tacos are so inappropriate!
