DIY Doggie Bed

This past Sunday Trent and I got this side table at a garage sale for FREE!

Free is the absolute BEST.

The doors on the front slide open and shut, so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity for a little creativity!

We used some leftover "Oops" paint and some Rustoleum decorative glaze...

And transformed this baby into a doggie bed side table!!! BAM!

I added a little bit of bling inside since it's basically her bedroom. Gigantic jewels are from Target.

There's even a family photo inside. Because I think I'm funny.

Trent got all creative and put a little LED tap light on the ceiling. Leave it to the engineer.

We sprayed the handles with some leftover chalk board paint. Mostly because I couldn't find any leftover black spray paint.

I was pretty sloppy with the decorative glaze...Long hair don't care!!

The below photos are completely staged. I wouldn't say she's particularly fond of her bedroom yet, but we keep putting treats in there, so she's bound to love it soon.

I might like it more than she does...."JUST LET ME CRAWL IN THERE AND ESCAPE THE WORLD IN A LAND OF JEWELS!"

A before and after...

What a fancy dog! Blinged out bed right in the middle of the living room.

I appreciate that it's kind of hidden...just to keeps things classy looking. We don't want EVERYONE knowing that I'm a creepy obsessive dog owner.

Gracie, if you could talk, I'm sure you would tell me how great of a parent I am.

Instead you poop on my rug.

It's a good thing you're cute.

If you want to see something even more ridiculous, check out Gracie's doggie bowl collage
