Favorite New Beauty Product

Hi! Currently on my lunch break and decided to whip up a little post.

It's been a while since I've done a product review, so I wanted to share my new favie product that I've been using for the past few months!!

Loreal Paris Magic Lumi Light Infusing Primer! (that's a mouthful)

I actually don't use it as a primer (not impressed), but I have absolutely loved it as a highlighter! That means I use it on specific areas OVER my foundation, rather than all over my face underneath my foundation.

Why do I use a highlighter?
This winter I noticed a change in my skin. Instead of combatting oil, I've been combatting dryness. Maybe that's because I live in a dry, 100 year old house, or maybe it's because I'm getting older! I DONT KNOW OK!? All I know is using a highlighter makes your skin look HEALTHY and ALIVE.

Do you wear a highlighter every day?
No. Sometimes. I don't know. I usually only wear highlighters if I wear full coverage foundation. If I'm using a BB cream or something, I usually don't.

Where do you put it?
Tops of your cheek bones, bridge of the nose, cupid's bow (above upper lip). You could also put it below your eyebrows but I didn't today.

Places you do NOT want to put highlighter:
Forehead (NO NO NO), chin, where your cheeks meet your nose

Ok let's get started...

Here is what my hand looks like without the primer...

And here is what it looks like with it...
I used a ton in the photo above so you can get the affect.

Now lets put it on my face. Before the highlighter...

After highlighter...

Are you laughing at me because you don't see the difference? It's fine. I laughed at me too.

But if it were any more intense, it wouldn't be something I would want to wear every day anyway. That's what I like about this's subtle without being overpowering. It gives the perfect amount of sheen without making you look shiny. Perfect for work or a casual date.

It can also play into the whole "straighter, thinner nose" thing that contouring helps create (I mentioned contouring in this post).

If you are interested, I wrote more about my favorite highlighters here. Loreal Paris Magic Lumi has been added to my mental "best highlighters" list!!

Gracie says bye. Little diva.

Lunch break is over! Happy highlighting!
